Why data sucks, and why product principles rock
How many times have you heard "data-driven decision making", that someone is "data-inspired" or "data-informed"? The fact that we frame everything in terms of data is a terrible mistake. 

While using data is important, this presentation will argue that product people should be putting things like first principles, critical thinking, and common sense in the driver's seat - and putting data into the toolbox where it belongs.
